She’s Got That Light

Some homes just make you smile the second you walk in. This was one of them.

The goal for this project was simple: create a space that feels colorful, uplifting, and full of life. The clients loved color and weren’t afraid of it, but they still wanted the house to feel cohesive rather than chaotic. So the approach was to layer color thoughtfully, balancing brighter moments with calmer materials and textures.

We played with a mix of saturated hues, softer tones, and natural finishes so the space would feel energetic but still comfortable to live in every day. Artwork, textiles, and smaller pieces helped bring personality into the rooms, while the larger elements grounded everything so the spaces still felt balanced.

What we love most about this home is how joyful it feels. It doesn’t take itself too seriously. It’s bright, welcoming, and full of personality. The kind of space that instantly lifts your mood.
